An articulation agreement is an official agreement between two universities that offers students, who have met the established academic criteria, guaranteed acceptance in the semester following their graduation.

AUA College of Medicine (AUACOM) Articulation Agreement with Assumption College:
AUA will offer admission to its educational program leading to the Doctor of Medicine degree to graduates who have earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Assumption College from one of the approved programs below, as defined in the agreement:
MAJOR IN BIOLOGY
MAJOR IN BIOLOGY WITH A CONCENTRATION IN NEUROSCIENCE AND BEHAVIOR
MAJOR IN BIOTECHNOLOGY AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY
MAJOR IN ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
MAJOR IN ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE WITH A CONCENTRATION IN ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
MAJOR IN CHEMISTRY
In addition to completing one of the above listed approved programs, a student also must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be admitted to AUA pursuant to the agreement:
• An overall grade point average of 3.25 or higher
• A grade point average of 3.00 or higher in prerequisite courses required by AUA
• No “F” or “D” grade in any pre-requisite course required by AUA
• A recommendation for admission by an AUA Admission Officer who has interviewed the applicant
American International College of Arts and Science - Antigua (AICASA) Articulation Agreement with Assumption College:
Students from the American International College of Arts and Science (AICASA) who graduate with an Associate of Science degree in Health Sciences will be offered admission to Assumption College’s educational programs leading to the Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, or a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science.
In order to pursue this program, students must fulfill the following requirements:
• An overall Grade Point Average of 2.7 or higher
• No “F” or “D” grade in any required course by Assumption College
• Assumption College represents that requirements for earning the BS degree are described in the Assumption College Undergraduate Catalog. Assumption College does not represent that students admitted pursuant to the agreement with AUA will be able to complete the degree requirements, but each student is responsible for planning his or her undergraduate education to develop skills necessary to succeed in a demanding degree program.
AUA College of Medicine Articulation Agreement with University of West Florida:
AUA will offer admission to its educational program leading to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree to graduates who have earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from University of West Florida from one of the approved programs below, as defined in the agreement:
Major in Biology
Major in Marine Biology
Major in Interdisciplinary Sciences (except Zoo Science Specialization)
Major in Chemistry
Post-Baccalaureate students completing UWF’s Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Professional Preparation Program
In addition to completing one of the above listed approved programs, a student also must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be admitted to AUA pursuant to the agreement:
- An overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.25 or higher
- A GPA of 3.00 or higher in prerequisite courses required by AUA
- No “F” or “D” grade in any pre-requisite course required by AUA
- A score of 24 or higher on the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)
- A recommendation for admission by an AUA Admission Officer who has interviewed the applicant in person
AUA College of Medicine (AUACOM) Articulation Agreement with King’s College:
AUA will offer admission to its educational program leading to the Doctor of Medicine degree to King’s College graduates who have earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and were on a pre-med track.
Students must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be admitted to AUA pursuant to the agreement:
• An overall grade point average of 3.25 or higher
• A grade point average of 3.00 or higher in prerequisite courses required by AUA
• No “F” or “D” grade in any pre-requisite course required by AUA
• A recommendation for admission by an AUA Admission Officer who has interviewed the applicant
AUA College of Medicine (AUACOM) Articulation Agreement with Sungshin Women's University:
Sungshin Women’s University has a program in which students complete two years of liberal arts courses and two years of pre-medical courses and receive a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree. AUA will offer graduates of this program admission to AUA College of Medicine’s MD program. In the Medical School Bridge program, Sungshin will offer students who have completed a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine and Performing Arts, or Bachelor of Science degrees the prerequisite courses that they need to gain admission to AUA College of Medicine.
Students who wish to utilize these programs must fulfill the following requirements:
- An overall grade point average of 3.25 or higher
- A grade point average of 3.00 or higher in prerequisite courses required by AUA
- No “F” or “D” grade in any pre-requisite course required by AUA
All Sungshin students who are admitted to AUA will take a 4-week intensive orientation course prior to the beginning of their first semester of courses leading to the M.D. degree. The orientation will focus on English language skills, especially as they apply to medical terminology, study skills and time management, and an overview of the American medical system.
AICASA School of Nursing Articulation Agreement with City University of New York Lehman College:
Graduates of AICASA’s Associate Degree in Nursing program who have completed 90 transferable college credits, including Organic Chemistry, and have passed the NCLEX-RN are granted entrance into CUNY Lehman’s one-year RN to BSN program. All nurses who successfully complete this program will be awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lehman College.

AUA College of Medicine teams up with Plymouth State University
AUA has teamed up with Plymouth State University (PSU) to enable our students to earn an MBA in Health Care Administration online while enrolled at AUA. PSU has agreed to offer dedicated tracks of their Health Care Administration (HCA) MBA program exclusively to AUA students.
Since Plymouth University is a fully accredited State University, eligible students who take one course during each 10-week term are welcome to apply for Title IV Federal Aid. This aid includes tuition for the PSU Classes AND may include funds for living expenses while pursuing the MBA.

AUA Students may earn an MPH or MHA while pursuing their MD
AUA and Walden University Offer Opportunity to Pursue the Master of Public Health, Master of Healthcare Administration, and Other Degrees
The American University of Antigua (AUA) and Walden University have partnered to provide AUA students, alumni, and appropriate educators with the opportunity to pursue a Walden degree.
Programs include, but are not limited to, the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) and Master of Healthcare Administration (M.H.A.). Eligible AUA students also may apply for Title IV federal aid, which may be applied to the cost of tuition as well as living expenses incurred while pursuing the M.P.H. or M.H.A.
To expedite the application process, Walden University will process applications using transcripts provided by AUA; however, students will be required to provide an official transcript by the end of their first term for unconditional acceptance into a Walden degree program.
