Dr. Lueck is a graduate from the University of Bielefeld in Germany, where he obtained both a degree as Diplom-Biologe (equivalent to Master of Science degree in Biology) and the Doctor of Natural Sciences degree (DNSc equivalent to PhD). For both degrees, Dr. Lueck majored in molecular biology, molecular cell biology, biochemistry, and genetics. Dr. Lueck has 5 years post-doctoral experience in biomedical research and spent 3 years of his post-doctoral training at Harvard Medical School in Boston. He also has more than 20 years experience in teaching and tutoring students at the high school, college and university level. From 1999 to 2004 Dr. Lueck was chair of the Department of Medical Biochemistry at Saba University School of Medicine. At Saba University he was also Director of Research and later chair of the Molecular Sciences Division. Since 2004, Dr. Lueck is Professor and Chair of the Department for Medical Biochemistry and Genetics at AUA. From March 2005 to December 2007 Dr. Lueck was appointed Associate Dean of Admissions. Presently Dr. Lück is the Dean of Academic Matters and the chair of the Admissions Committee and the Faculty Recruitment and Review Committee.
