Phillip L. Isenberg, MD, LFAPA, FACP Clinical Chair, Psychiatry
Phillip L. Isenberg is the Clinical Chair of Psychiatry. He received his A.B. from Harvard College in 1951 and his M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 1955. He was a practicing psychiatrist at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts from 1980 to 2003; he was awarded the McLean Hospital Teaching Award given by the Residents and soon thereafter the Phillip L. Isenberg Prize was established by the residents awarded annually to the best teacher. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He served on the editorial board of the American Journal of Psychiatry.
