Sampath Kumar Madhyastha, MSc, PhD
Dr. Sampath Madhyastha did his post-graduate studies in Human Anatomy and earned his PhD in Neuroanatomy from the prestigious Manipal University in India. For the last fifteen years, he has taught Human Anatomy to MBBS, BDS, Nursing and post-graduate students at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal & Mangalore (a subsidiary of Manipal University). Apart from teaching, Dr. Madhyastha is involved in research activities and has more than 50 publications in internationally indexed journals. He has attracted many external research grants and is currently guiding 2 doctoral theses under Manipal University. He has also authored many textbooks in Anatomy including Manipal Manual of Anatomy. He has many awards to his credit including the prestigious Dr.T.M.A.Pai Gold medal for excellence in medical research.
